As the conveyor belt was about to show the prizes, Rudi Carrell spontaneously decided to jump on, thus surprising both Mies and the winner Mrs Coenraads-Nederveen. When Mrs Coenraads mentioned Rudi along with other prizes she remembered, Rudi had to think of a prize that could actually be given to her. He invited Mrs Coenraads and her family to tag along with him one day, have a nice day out together. This, however, never came to be. When Mrs Coenraads reminded the producers of Rudi's offer 8 months later, they had to admit that Rudi could not be persuaded to keep his promise.
