When you look at it from Ryo's perspective, he's perfectly correct in his logic. Why he doesn't care about killing Oscar in revenge for his brutalizing of Ryo's friends because he was too caught up in his PTSD rage to think straight.

1) Ryo is NOT native to the country he registered as an adventurer in; therefore he sees himself as a traveler unaligned with it. 2) There would be ZERO point to a war starting over Ryo killing Oscar. Ryo can choose to leave the country and return to his home on the other side of the Malefic Mountains. 3) Abel and the adventurers would VOUCH that any aggression against Ryo is effectively suicide; they guy can kill Demon Princes without issue.
