"Such an amazing human being, but such a bad movie. This man brought Greece to freedom after half a century under rule. First was Greece for him than his own life. However the movie was boring. Was giving the impression he was Jesus or something. It didn't help that there were so many bad actors. Opportunity to show European landscape, but could easily been filmed in someone's backyard. Smaragdis first 2 movies were really good. Maybe because he is now a little old and wants to be close to the Devine. Also it showed Kapodistrias non human. Because of the funding gap of the project and alleged institutional sabotage, members of the Greek diaspora formed an Initiative to help finance the film. This diaspora committee collected money through a bank account (they cite a Greek National Bank account) and via a website.
