The twenty-second episode of season 3, The Creeping Doom, marks the return of the Creep in Manhattan, who is a parody of Jason Vorhees. Hr was originally featured in the first episode of season 3 when the turtles leave the city, having been defeated by the krangg and shredder.One scene in which Raphael and the creep battle on a rooftop mirrors a scene from Jason Takes Manhattan in which one of Jason's victims boxes him until completely exhausted. He then tells Jason, who is unphased by the blows, to take his best shot, which ends with the boxer being decapitated by a single blow from Jason. Raphael speaks a variation of the same line and rather than being decapitated, is knocked forcibly off the roof top.
