"Some Stephen King book adaptations don't always do well on-screen, but I was immediately pulled into this mini-series, and as someone who had also read the novel prior to watching, thought it was done very well. Stephen King has a knack for telling a really good story--the kind you can't put down--so when it is successfully put onto tv or movie screens, you wind up with something really special. This first episode was engaging from the start. Great acting--it is a shame about James Franco; he is a great actor, handsome, charismatic. It's too bad his personal issues kind of ruin..."
