Displayed is a persons' aim to evaluate his personal maximum heart frequency. For me, the achievement of inner peace is primarily a result of physical effort, mainly in the form of running. In getting close to my own personal restrains and borders, as an effect, my body reacts with a certain inner peace and tranquility. My aim was to visualize this very own personal peace but also its effort in form of nervousness and physical labor and its ultimate attempt which might result in failure (the fade to red in the film image). The higher the frequency rate, the darker the image. The non-exposed film at the end (as opposed to black film) resembles the energy that is needed to get to rest, to calm down.
