"This has to be one of the finest movies of power star. He is usually known for making commercial movies. But surprisingly this movie was realistic in approach. It didn't have unrealistic fights and masala. It has social message with artistic touch. Whenever I watch this, I get reminded of Hindi movie Gangajal. As far as I know, this movie didn't make lot of money due to lack of masala in it. But hats off to Appu to accept and act in it. He has excelled in portraying as honest IAS officer amongst corrupt politicians and other officials appointed at mining capital Bellary...."
