"I think the story writers need to write Rusty out of this series as his story is non relevant to the series anymore. I would prefer to concentrate on the main story in each episode. If the writers want to spend sometime away from the main story, follow the detectives outside of the office instead just to see what their lives are like away from the office. I love Major Crimes but without Rusty, it's spoiling my enjoyment of this show. Can we see more of Dr Joe Bowman maybe? Develop his character working along with the detectives on a consulting level.
