Day One

In the past a busy Liutenant Jim Gordon is involved with continuous steakouts. A night, he gets a call from the telephone switchboard warning him about Wayne's murder. Some time after, Liutenant Harvey Bullock tells Gordon he was able to deceive Alfred, and that Gordon could bring Bruce home, to extort him more informations than during interrogation. Gordon introduces himself to Bruce, and fairly gets his faith. Bruce tells him about his parents' death and that he can't remember their murderer's face. Gordon doesn't believe him, and records their conversation, believing that it's not just a robbery murder. In the present doctor Quinzel is in front of Joker's room. Horace starts an alarm which wakes up the clown that hit his head untill he bleeds on the doctors room's window. He stops bleeding only when a gas sedates him. Quinzel orders Horace to open the door at all costs, or she would have broke the window. Both of them enter Joker's room. In the future a mysterious muscular man gets into the batcave and tells a woman via radio that Batman isn't there. The whole story is told by an old Joker thanks to his puppets during an apparently absurd monologue.
