At the Murdoch's, Lydia is caught off guard when Lee phones to tell her the police want to go over his statement. She tells him to stick to their agreed story. Lydia is anxious when Amber opens the letter, revealing that Lenny wants to see her. Amber is upset that Lee has disappeared, as Lydia tries to insist it's for the best. Later, Amber sees Lee talking to Lydia in the street. Amber later presses Lee to tell her exactly how Ewan died. Lee is reluctant and manages to delay it. Desperate to get answers, Amber asks Malcolm about Ewan's death. Malcolm is ashamed that his lie is affecting Amber, but he simply nods when she asks if Lenny pushed Ewan.
