Within the cast, there are 6 Actors who have appeared as live action adapted DC Comic Characters. Gary Oldman played Commissioner Gordon in The Dark Knight Trilogy franchise from 2005-2012, while Richard Brake played the part of Joe Chill (the man who murdered Thomas and Martha Wayne) in Batman Begins(2005) and Ben Mendelsohn played the part of Roland Daggett in The Dark Knight Rises (2012). Mark Strong has been in a few DC Comics films: first playing Sinestro in Green Lantern (2011), then played role of Dr Sivana in Shazam (2019) and played the role of Carmine Falcone in The Penguin (2022) miniseries. Henry Cavill played Superman in Man of Steel (2013), Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017).
