The Doctor takes Moretti to an isolated mansion where the hitmen are waiting for him and they are holding Pickman hostage. Reporter Lorena Torres frames Pickman of more than ten murders in the last two days. Two hitmen torture Kleo, reminding her that Kleo's father had been an illuminated one and wrote pages for them; but Kleo says nothing and, when she is alone, she manages to free herself. Guided by the ghost of Santos, she kills a guard and takes his weapon. Pickman is tied up while the Doctor, protected by the two main hitmen, performs a ritual on Moretti. The spirit of Olaus emerges from Moretti's body and approaches Pickman to occupy him. Then a shot is heard, we see Moretti die with a smile, and Kleo is at the door, threatening to shoot whoever is needed. The main hitman draws his weapon, but she kills him and he quickly burns in a supernatural death. She frees Pickman and gives him the knife so they can both leave while still looking at the fanatics. But when Pickman is behind Kleo, he slits her throat and kills her: Olaus had managed to completely possess Pickman. The Doctor and the other hitman kneel before their master's new form, and a weird formation appears on the starry night sky.
