The scenes of the doctor's office, waiting area, and a few exterior shots were filmed at the Magnolia Hotel in Seguin, Texas. The building was originally a log cabin built by Texas Ranger James Campbell after the Texas Revolution. After Campbell was killed by Comanches, the cabin had several owners that added on until it appears as it does today. It has been stated that spirits of those associated with the building still linger. Such claims have been proven by shows such as Ghost Adventures ("Texas Horror Hotel") and When Ghosts Attack. During the filming of the footage shot at the Magnolia, one camera did not properly record audio although it had been tested prior to the start of filming. Thought to be a technical issue with the camera and mic, the company that it was rented from conducted thorough testing and deemed that it was in proper working order.
