Zoe Dronfield has become an author and campaigner, fighting for changes to protect victims of stalking. Zoe has spoken out about the lack of police response to the harassment and threats that preceded the brutal attack.

In 2024 the law was changed so that victims of stalking would be told the name of their stalker. Zoe spoke out, saying that what was needed was better police training in how to apply anti-stalking laws, as when she contacted them she had been told "he hasn't really done anything yet." Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips opposed the changes, saying victims having their stalker's name would give them "peace of mind" and that was enough.
