Cape Coast: Where Worlds Collide

&apos;Wildest Africa&apos;s&apos; episodes did vary in how much information in each episode was familiar content or new content, with some episodes having more familiar territory, other episodes having content new to me and other episodes with a mix of both. This was insignificant to me though, because &apos;Wildest Africa&apos; is a very well made, written and delivered and always fascinating series, which is more important.

The ninth, of thirteen, episode &quot;Cape Coast: Where Worlds Collide&quot; is one of my least favourite episodes of &apos;Wildest Africa&apos;. The other episodes educated me more, made me feel more and focused on subjects that were more interesting to me. Despite how this sounds, that does not mean that &quot;Cape Coast: Where Worlds Collide&quot; isn&apos;t good. Actually it&apos;s pretty great, but not an awful lot new here as such.

&quot;Cape Coast: Where Worlds Collide&quot; covers a wide mix of marine species, they all look a mix of cute and imposing and their behaviours compel, endear and frighten. The Great White Shark is especially memorable, and although they are one of the most talked about species in nature documentary-dom they are always interesting. Plus, one cannot really have a marine-oriented episode without having at least one glimpse of a Great White Shark.

Here in &quot;Cape Coast: Where Worlds Collide&quot;, the information is always engaging and still learned a lot despite other &apos;Wildest Africa&apos; episodes doing this aspect better. Colin Salmon narrates with enthusiasm and sensitivity, his narration adding to any tension and emotion.

Visually, it doesn&apos;t disappoint with everything shown looking amazing on film. The scenery is more than just beautiful scenery, it&apos;s unforgiving too and gorgeously photographed. How such a lot of it managed to be filmed so intimately with such full impact is anybody&apos;s guess, meant in the best possible way. The music rouses and also has edge.

Overall, very, very well done. 9/10
