"I really enjoyed this documentary. Growing up in Texas and Alabama as a white person, I saw some racism, but this documentary is very eye-opening to the more covert racist experiences biracial people face while never dipping into "shock value" territory. I love that it mentions the one-drop rule and Alabama's late adoption of legal interracial marriage. The young women featured are honestly captivating and cover so much range of emotion and experiences, not to mention the director herself, who guides us through the film with her voiceover and occasional appearances. Loved this ..."
