"Since the very first episode of SVTFOE, Daron Nefcy has drawn the relationship between Star and Marco as a best friend. As season 2 went trough, the relationship between them got stronger and developed, and in episode "Sleepover", we got a clue that Star actually had a crush on Marco. "Bon Bon the Birthday Clown" unfolded as Marco finally got along with Jackie to the dance party after troubled for sometime (actually she asked Marco to the dance, not him) and Star, with Janna resurrected the dead clown after a decade.
