"Finally, the series seems to be finding its stride. Like several of the episodes so far, this one appears to be inspired by a Spike Lee movie other than "She's Gotta Have It." For example, the previous episode (#LuvIzLuv) seemed to draw inspiration from "She Hate Me." In this one (written by Barry Michael Cooper) it's "Bamboozled" (one can argue Justin Simien's "Dear White People" as well) because of its focus on racial politics.
