"This episode focuses in on Queen Victoria's quick decision making. This is something that annoys Albert, the practical part of the monarchy. A silk merchant comes to the castle, imploring Victoria to do something about the fate of the workers, who are being pushed out by inferior foreign silk. Instead of pushing for legislation from Parliament, she decides to have a big ball where everyone must use local silk in their costumes.
