This is a genuinely fun and family-friendly film with strong female characters and demonstrates good values without being preachy or schmaltzy. Anyone who's ever bounced around their room listening to Green Day or dreamed of making it as a musician will be able to relate and enjoy this movie. It's sweet, funny, has great music, and it passes the Bechdel test!
