"Just watched this on Netflix, and I gotta say - why all the hate? This was a good independent film, with good acting, good plot, and good atmosphere. I've never read the book, so maybe that's it. But as a stand-alone film, I was entertained & dug it! Katie Jarvis was the standout to me. I loved her in Fish Tank, and she doesn't disappoint here. I recommend it for any and all who enjoy gritty independent films. Definitely worth a watch. I wish Katie would get more roles. She acts well, and she's easy on the eyes. I will be watching this again. Peace out!..."
