"More about folk music in general than about Dylan. If you wanted to tell the history of the Vietnam war, it would not be necessary to start with an explanation of how the bow and arrow was invented. With a documentary that is already over 2 hours long, it becomes suspect as to whether or or not it was produced by professionals or amateurs. Professionals know how to live with time limits and still get every thing said that is pertinent. Amateurs get diarrhea of the pen (or the keyboard). It's much like the old adage: "If a person asks you if you have the time, you don't need to t..."
