"There are a lot of factual errors in this episode that could have been avoided if the writers had bothered to read any of the first hand material written by the men of Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne Division. The biggest error of all was that Brecourt Manor was Easy's primary target. Their main assignment was to get the causeways and roads clear so that the landing forces could move off the beaches. Brecourt Manor was one of many positions assaulted by airborne troops that day...."
