the dogs in a cage scene at the start threw me
"They had two lovely dogs locked in a cage. They filmed them opening the cage door and when the dogs happily rushed out (just grateful to be released, I guess) they said 'where are you going?!' and 'it's like I'm not even here!', as though the dogs were somehow behaving badly. I couldn't empathise with them after that. I couldn't bring myself to care about their shoe organisation...."
