After a post-apocalyptic epidemic that has turned almost all of the world's population into "zombies," Léa, a teenage girl, dreams of her last family picnic in the forest on a summer's day. Suddenly while the atmosphere is good, a zombie appears from nowhere. She wakes up suddenly alone in a trunk of a car. Léa walks the deserted streets, disemboweled and dirty with 2 sticks, until she reaches a pond where she is attacked from behind by a zombie child. Lea reacts quickly and manages to master it. She feels the face of the zombie child and is shocked. The next day, she continues her way into a forest. She meets by chance a group of three people, consisting of two men and a young woman, with whom she immediately returns to friction. The fear of being robbed, mistrust and doubt reign between the teenager and the group. A fight is linked to the tension. Lea's senses, so developed thanks to her handicap, quickly help her get back on top. Realizing that Lea is very lonely and visually impaired, the group is impressed by the way she fights and defends herself; he decides to keep her to watch over her. Around a meal, they get to know each other. Lea explains how her life turned when the epidemic began and how she became blind. The group tells him that he has only one specific goal: to hunt and exterminate the "eaters", to the last to start from scratch in a new life. Léa also has a goal: to find her family one day even if they are transformed. She hopes to find scientists and doctors who could invent an antidote to save the world. At this point, she totally disagrees with the way of surviving the group she finds barbaric. Chaining the provocations, especially with the "big mouth" of the group: Gall, which puts in danger in the face of an altercation with zombies. For Gall, the only way out is that she learns to kill them. It's a failure when Léa refuses to defend herself against the zombie who attacks her to the point of being bitten; the group is then obliged to help him and to avoid him a new confrontation takes place between Gall and Leah. Not being on the same wavelength, Lea decides to leave, pushed by Gall but retained by Anthony and Claire who try to make him listen to reason. Gall, who understood that he went too far, also decides to explain his point of view. The group tries to convince her to join them in "death hunters". By the time Léa seems to be about to make a decision, a horde of zombies is heard approaching faster and faster ...
