Chinnu alias Chandril is an infamous criminal who is responsible for many terrorist attacks and crimes. He is imprisoned for many years and going to be hanged tomorrow. Before his execution, a jail officer meets him to query about his journey to become a criminal. Chandril narrates his past life to the officer. He loved to draw pictures. But his father Manotosh always opposed drawing. Instead, he wanted Chandril only to read and score good marks in examinations. Monotosh often scolded and beat Chandril. Chandril would draw pictures in hiding. One day Manotosh bound him with chain like a beast. It severely hurt Chandril. Only his private tutor Rupam encouraged him. But Chandril gradually became a reading machine and lost interest in drawing. His feelings died. He scored very good marks in class XII examination. Then he felt that his father's due ( to score good marks ) was repaid, but his own due was never going to be paid, that is he dreamed to be an artist. He decided to leave home. He contacted a local man, Vickey to go to Kolkata and work there. In fact, Vickey was a channel to supply young men to a smuggler team. One night, Chandril went to Kolkata. Gradually he got involved in crimes and became a criminal and then a terrorist. Actually, he became a robot without any feelings. Guardians and society should take care of a child's mind. Death of mind is the main cause of terrorism. Chandril dreamed to be an artist, but environments killed his dream. He was forbidden to dream.
