Each episode your sure to laugh cry or feel nervous .. We Definitely need a season 3. To see uncle clifford and lil murda's love blossom. Season left us wanting more!!..."

The first season of the show was entirely female directed. When creator Katori Hall was asked about it, she said it wasn't a deliberate thing. Hall explained that every time she meet with a possible director for an episode, she asked him or her to define the female gaze, since that was the way she intends to frame the show.
