In the original version, the Pharaoh understands Dartz had been brainwashed by the Orichalchos and forgives him for the horrible things he's done.

In this version, the Pharoah is angry Dartz gets a clean slate because he has no memory of his time being brainwashed. Because it makes the Pharaoh's issues with his past and morality pointless; since the orichalchos is what messed with both of their heads.
