Films are Inspired by real life situations and that's where 'ANTHARGATHA' was from. As a filmmaker Sushmitha Kalangi has picked up a simple concept which prevails in the society but has a catalogue of consequences. This film is inspired from a 'MAHABARATH': 'The story of Kunthi and Karna'. Though the situation which is shown is ANTHARGATHA is a mirror image, the crux of it is still identical, be it DwaparaYug or Kalyug. The story is built by using metaphors which help to make the screenplay more relatable to the audience. ANTHARGATHA is initiated to give a message to its audience at the end. To bring out this vision of the director, students of Annapurna International School of film + Media, from varied specializations, have come together as a team and will be working as the key crew.
