"This begins with a man in a toll both being shot by a driver as he passes through his lane. It turns out that this man, his wife, and his daughter have been in witness protection for some them victim testified when no one else would. Now, the family is suing the state for not being there for him. The wife is a firecracker and the daughter is a sad little girl who has some heroic qualities. Enter Bull's most admired attorney, a man of incredible reputation. Problem: He seems to have some sort of dementia. The case itself is just really convoluted...."
