"The 4th Expendables film comes after a long hiatus of nine years. Unfortunately it wasn't worth the wait. The "big" names are not that plentiful, and in fact Stallone has barely more than a cameo. Statham carries the film but is hampered by a substandard plot, Andy Garcia is underused, as is Dolph Lundgren and Megan Fox is ok. The action scenes are pedestrian at best, but worst of all are the CGI effects which are awful and distracting. It is a shame what was once a good fun series has now sunk to almost B Movie levels, and it is hard to see where they would go with a fifth film..."
