"This is almost entirely dominated by the opinions of so-called 'historians'. None of these were alive when Victoria was. Their thoughts are often prefaced by words such as 'it is suggested', there are fears that Alice might have been anorexic' and 'some suggestion that she might have stopped eating....' There is no proof offered that almost anything said in the film is true. All the historians, including those who call themselves Professor, Doctor and Screenwriter and the production and directorial team should be ashamed. Whoever approved this for broadcastin..."
